Cookies & storage
Cookie Policy.
What this studio website stores in your browser, and how that differs from the games you open.

Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small files that websites can store on your device. Websites can also use browser storage. This policy covers the Waffle Pixel Games studio website, not the separate websites hosting our games.
The cookie notice
When you first visit, a notice at the bottom of the page asks you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the name wpg-cookie-consent, so the notice does not appear again on later visits. Clearing site data removes that record and the notice will return.
The opening animation
The site uses session storage to remember the opening animation’s start time. This helps the animation continue instead of starting again if the page refreshes. This value is stored in your browser and is not used to identify you or track you across websites. Session storage normally clears when the tab or browsing session closes.
Page preferences
A cookie named sidebar_state remembers whether a collapsible sidebar panel was last open or closed, so the page can restore it. It lasts for seven days and is only used to show the page the way you left it.
Tracking and preferences
The studio website does not currently include advertising or optional analytics cookies in its own page code. If we introduce optional tracking, it will only run for visitors who have accepted non-essential cookies, and this policy will be updated first.
Linked games
Opening Bot Boss takes you to a different website, which may use cookies or browser storage of its own. Check the game’s policies for details; storage on those websites is not controlled by this studio page.
Managing storage
You can clear cookies and site data using your browser’s settings. Doing so removes your cookie notice choice and the opening animation’s session storage, so the notice will appear again and the animation may start from the beginning.
